From personal experience, I strongly recommend purchasing a crate of 7.62x54r first, not just a single spam can.
As much fun as he had opening that can, it is nearly infinitely worse without that can opener.
I’ve opened more than a few with a hammer and chisel. Takes some time…but ammo makes it worth it!
I still don’t own one of those can openers.
I also have a crate of some stuff on clips that has some sort of metallic pull-tab.
